Making my birthday cake a
couple days early!
Thursday I went over to grandma's
and started to make my favorite winter treat. I always add extra
spice.
I like to cook in my big Hipster.org shirt, it covers me well and
is so comfy.

GINGERBREAD!!!!!!
I love the way it smells up the
entire house and you know just before it is ready to come out
of the oven by the smell of it

I also made a wonderful lemon
sauce to pour over it, just the right thin glaze of a sauce for
the hot gingerbread... the only thing is I ate up about half
of a HUGE pan that night.

If it's Friday it must be Truffles

Friday I got a wonderful gift
from a fan a BIG box of the most amazing truffles ever they were
so yummy good. I was in chocolate heaven. Here I am eating a
raspberry one and almost fainting with pleasure.

I asked my grandma to take
some pictures of me eating them so I could show the fan how much
I enjoyed them and she told me she would give me my gifts from
early if I wanted.

She got me this great comforter
set (this is her bedroom actually) and this wonderful eyelash
sweater. I think they look great together as I lounge around
and enjoy my goodies.....LOL

Saturday we are off to Texas
OK it is Just the LoneStar Steakhouse
but I love their food!!!!
This is a picture of my beautiful
mom and grandma and myself. People say they can not believe I
am 34, well you can see where I get it from my mom is 20 years
older then me on 12-31 and you would never guess and grandma
is 21yrs older then her.
Personally if this is what I have
to look forward to I am not very worried.

I almost never drink and
we decided to try a candy apple martini... Well cause I dont
drink much I forgot the reason they call it puckers..LOL well
no worry about it being a sweet drink...LOL candy apple is a
seriously wrong name for this.
Ohhh well it was not bad just very
different, whne I want something tangy I drink bloodymarys, yeah
I am old fashioned, I also like my martinis so dry you couldn't
drown in one.

YEEHAW BIRTHDAY GIRL!!!!!
The flash did not go off!!!! But
I think the red actually makes for a cool pic. I was so full
by the time they brought me this huge brownie sunday I was in
shock but it was fun to have a bunch a people singing to you...
I will never grow up!
I ended up eating off the whipcream
and sharing the brownie with grandma.

My dad and step-mom took me out
to the Olive Garden. Oh man my new favorite is lobster spagetti
(that and seafood portafino)
I love going to dinner with them
we have these long talks about everything and get silly and munch
down and it is just so fun to spend time with them since they
are so very busy.

I REALLY SHOULDN'T,
OK TWIST MY ARM
OHHHH two drinks in one weekend,
yep I am turning into a lush.....lol. This is a frozen Tiramisu
a shake like drink with amareto and something else and it actually
buzzed me more then the appletini. SallyJo is so funny she says
"Oh that is not really a desert..Take a piece of cake home
with you"

Well I had an amazing birthday
weekend thanks to my family and friends... I just thought I would
