Waking Aurora Grace
Aurora Grace had lived most of her adult life in paradox.
She had been raised to be a strong, independent woman, taught to not take any form of disrespect from anyone and over the years through experience she had learned to not trust easily. At the same time as she aged she found herself wanting to please people and often being hurt for it.
Aurora was a big woman, pretty and smart and funny or so she was told and yet relationships never seemed to work for her, she often heard “You give too much.” from men. Over and over she would find herself caring for a man only to have him choose some woman who treated him badly, who cheated or lied or simply was mean to him.
So, strong and giving at the same time, she often found that she attracted men who wished to submit to her and yet she could not feel any real desire for them, the idea of being in a relationship with a submissive man simply did not appeal in any way. In her desire to please and in her self image as strong it was no surprise that she found herself dominating men who she then had no desire to be in relationships with.
Over the years she began to admit how much she enjoyed sexual submission, being spanked, being called a bad girl but she told herself it was only sceneplay, sex play and not real life. So she defined herself as a Switch, a person who equally desires to Dominate and submit sexually but more and more she found herself choosing to submit instead of dominate.
She simply could not see how she could be truly submissive and still be a strong person, how she could allow another person to direct her and still be independent.
Sadly most of the men she had met who were dominant in life as opposed to just in play were not men she could enjoy being with, not men she could ever see herself submitting to. Men who believed they had to be strong at all times without expressing humor or affection, and they just left her cold. Men who bored her as people even if their desires aroused her temporarily.
So she told herself and others, “I only submit sexually I could never live the life.”
That was until she met him.
He was funny, smart and caring as well as strong, in control and dominant, he was also shockingly enough someone she trusted almost immediately, something she had not done in years with anyone. And so she agreed to try to open herself to that side of herself, to the submissive nature inside her.
They began by taking it slow, step by step getting to know each, increasing her trust in him and his in her.
These are the stories of how he awoke the submissive in Aurora Grace.
